Coach with the Cardiff Hurdles Squad

Mark started athletics as a sprint hurdler competing for Milton Keynes athletics club. He went on to represent Buckinghamshire at the English schools championships and still holds the county championship records for both u17 and u20 sprint hurdles.

He made the transition up to 400m hurdles when going Loughborough University, who he represented at the BUSA championships. Mark has a good pedigree in the 400mH and was coached by Nick Dakin and trained with the likes of European Bronze Medallist and Wales very own Rhys Williams. After completing a BSc(Hons) in Chemistry and Sports Science he moved down to Wales where he is training to be a Chiropractor at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic. Mark has now turned his attention away from competing to coaching where he is able to pass his knowledge on to the Cardiff Hurdles Squad.
